Supports the sales group with the design of thermoformed products using SolidWorks (CAD) software.

Concept innovative and patentable packaging solutions that drive the thermoforming industry.

Create engineering drawings for both internal and customer review.

Evaluate parts using calipers, micrometers, depth gages and other measuring devices.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Maintains a high level of organization and professionalism.

Has the ability to work with other departments to successfully launch new tool start-ups.

Performs a variety of tasks as directed by manager to assure customer satisfaction

Willing to mentor less skilled employees as career progresses

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree or 3-5yrs product or tool design experience.

3-5 yrs experience in 3D modeling; Solid Works experience preferred.

Proven and demonstrated data analysis skills using tools such as MS-Excel, MS-Access, BI and/or SQL relational databases; ability to create and maintain high quality business reports and charts
